opening day

The official opening of the park is today at 11am.
This one is no big deal, just a ribbon cutting and some photo's for the papers, the big opening day with pro riders and comps and stuff is going to be on the 24th of July.
Looks like it's wet at the moment so hopefully it will dry up in the next couple of hours. Fingers crossed

That's not me being mean, it's what the council told us to do. Maybe then we can avoid the nightmare that is the Lowestoft park where you literally cannot move for the things. Nip it in the bud people

See the new guy up the top of the page there? Well we have a new T-shirt and some zip-up hoods (in black, red or salt and pepper grey) with his marvelous face on them available right now in the shop. As always they are limited editions and printed on garments that people actually got paid to make. Fancy!

skatepark as of yesterday

Looks to be virtually there except for the bowl! Stoked. However... DO NOT TRY TO SKATE IT YET!!! It's not dry and you will mess it up and delay it for everybody. And for those who have already been in there, shame on you. UPDATE- I just spoke to freestyle and there are a few things still to be done after the bowl is poured, namely, the lights need to be fitted and tested, and the bins and pathway between old park and new need putting in. They are going to give me a finish date as soon as they can, but it will be sometime this month all being well.
